

CipSoft is one of the 20 most family-friendly companies in Bavaria

June 16, 2023 - CipSoft is among the 20 companies that were honoured yesterday by Bavaria's Minister of Labour, Ulrike Scharf, and Bavaria's State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Roland Weigert, as part of the "Erfolgreich.Familienfreundlich" ('Successful.Family-friendly') competition. A total of 236 companies applied for the award, with a jury eventually selecting the 20 winners. The competition is part of an initiative by the Bavarian state government and the Bavarian economy to further improve the compatibility of family and work.

May 12, 2023 – Exactly twenty years ago today, CipSoft released the online role-playing game TibiaME. It is therefore the oldest MMORPG for mobile devices that is still being successfully developed. April 4, 2023 – The release of 2022's annual financial report made it clear: CipSoft's record earnings from recent years were no exceptions, but part of a sustainable, positive development. Three times in row now the Regensburg-based game developer has reported revenues in excess of 20 million euros, making the last couple of years by far the most successful in the company's history. In 2022, CipSoft generated total revenues of 22.057 million euros. Consequently, CipSoft's employees receive a share in profits amounting to more than nine additional monthly salaries each.

November 28, 2022 – The latest update to Tibia is here and with it comes new content. "The Cradle of Monsters" is a new quest that tells a horror story about a mad scientist and introduces a new island called Ingol. The biggest new feature of the update allows to further specialise characters while levelling up. September 27, 2022 – After 25 years without sound, Tibia players are finally able to hear the world they know by heart. As of today, sound effects and music have been added to the game. To get a first impression, you can now listen to Tibia's main theme on YouTube. The anthem of Tibia was created in cooperation with Dynamedion and combines 8-bit sounds with classical instruments of a real orchestra.
