October 8, 2024 – Starting today, there is more content and features for Tibia players with a free account. You can now explore the vast city of Yalahar, start to hone your character's skills via offline training, access a wider range of spells, and much more. Two weeks ago, a new widget was added to the game's interface. It gives new players quick access to essential information and includes various tutorials that explain basic mechanics. With these updates, one of the most expansive MMORPGs is now more accessible than ever.

July 1, 2024 – The annual summer update is here - along with a trailer showcasing what it includes. There are new areas and quests to explore as you take on an aquatic invasion force and unveil sweet mysteries in a land of milk and honey. As always, not only is there plenty of content, but new features have also been implemented. In the Soulpit, you can face waves of deadly enemies to gain a permanent experience bonus.

June 27, 2024 – A few hours ago, the first Gamescom in Latin America was launched in São Paulo, complete with a live moderated trailer show, just like in Germany. CipSoft's recently announced new MMORPG, Persist Online, was featured with a new trailer that combines CGI scenes from the beginning of the game with pre-alpha gameplay and also offers a first glimpse of the skill system.

June 3, 2024 – The genre pioneers from CipSoft, who published one of the first massively multiplayer online role-playing games ever with Tibia, present their first MMORPG for PC since 1997: Persist Online. Instead of casting spells on orcs, players in Persist Online must resist zombies using firearms and melee weapons.

May 7, 2024 – At a time when waves of redundancies and studio closures dominate the global headlines in the games industry, the number of employees at CipSoft has reached an all-time high. In May 2024, 100 employees are working at the Regensburg game developer, which plans to grow even further in the coming months. The recently finalised annual financial statements for the past year also set a new record.
