CipSoft is an independent German developer and operator of online games. The studio was founded following the success of Tibia, a game that has been online since 1997 and is one of the first MMORPGs ever. CipSoft later developed TibiaME, the first mobile online role-playing game. The 100+ employee company also operates The Settlers Online and is currently developing Persist Online, an MMORPG featuring zombies.

TibiaME celebrates 10th anniversary

May 13, 2013 – In May 2003 TibiaME went online for the first time and never stopped running ever since. We prepared many different events for our players in order to celebrate this special day. CipSoft has relocated

January 31, 2013 – In early January CipSoft changed its company domicile and moved into the third floor of the Parkside Offices, situated on the western fringe of the Old Town of Regensburg. Managing Director Stephan Vogler declared: "This was a necessary step in order for us to continue to grow sustainably.
