December 7, 2016 – When it comes to content, the just released Tibia update focuses on the lost knowledge of a vanished culture. After solving some quests and fighting some new boss monsters, players can use this knowledge to enhance weapons and equipment with temporary effects. A further new gameplay mechanic grants players a temporary bonus when hunting certain monsters. A detailed description of all changes can be found on the Tibia website, which has also undergone some improvements.

September 14, 2016 – After extensive beta testing, Tibia 11 has been released today. The newest version of the stand-alone client comes along with a launcher to install and update the client more conveniently. What is more, custom key bindings, one of the most popular features of the Flash client, were implemented. This became possible because Tibia 11 is a completely new development from a technical point of view.

July 18, 2016 – In the latest update, which was released at the end of last week, TibiaME has been enriched again with numerous new features. Among others, the world of TibiaME has been extended by a new island, on which players cannot only discover new quests, creatures and weapons but also a challenging boss monster. However, since the previous update there have also been several changes outside of the game: the server structure has been upgraded and the supported fansite program as well as the cooperation with our resellers have been expanded.

June 8, 2016 – Today is the day on which CipSoft celebrates its 15th birthday. Back then, the company consisted only of the four founders and at peak times 300 players at most were online on the sole game world. In those days, the total earnings came from advertising banners on the game’s website.

June 2, 2016 – With the launch of this year's summer update, there have been a number of changes in Tibia once again. Not only new adventures, monsters and bosses await the players, but for example also items which can be charged with new effects. The arena system, which had been introduced in winter, has been expanded by an independent game mode: daring teams can now compete with waves of monsters which continuously increase in strength and difficulty.
