November 16, 2015 – Since the end of October, Martin Eglseder is the new head of Tibia's product management. In 2009, the computer science graduate began his career at CipSoft as a software tester which makes the hobby musician and cat lover a proven expert of the game. Three years later, he took over as team leader of the test department. The complete Tibia team will now benefit from the excellent leadership qualities which he has shown in this position.

November 11, 2015 – By incorporating the payment service provider Paymentwall, CipSoft further expands the range of available payment methods for Tibia and TibiaME. Paymentwall is specialised in the sale of digital goods and services via the Internet. The company with headquarters in San Francisco offers more than 120 payment methods worldwide, including e-wallets, bank transfers and prepaid cards.

August 05, 2015 – Our players come from all over the world, but as a company CipSoft is deeply rooted in Regensburg. Against this background, a bus of the city's public transportation system was designed in a joint action of our graphics and marketing department.

July 22, 2015 – As part of the summer update that added lots of new content to Tibia we also introduced a new currency called Tibia Coins. Tibia Coins provide our players with a more comfortable way to buy products such as Premium Time, Mounts, Outfits and Extra Services. They are purchased via the Webshop and can be spent in the Store, a new and convenient interface that is accessible directly ingame. As a result, products can be bought and used instantly without having to leave Tibia.

April 29, 2015 – Hundreds of new payment methods are now available for Tibia thanks to the cooperation with the payment service provider Xsolla. Xsolla whose headquarter is located in California specializes in providing payment services for the games industry, including alternate payment methods such as Bitcoin and paysafecard. This enables customers without a credit card or bank account to easily and safely purchase Premium Time and other services for the game.
