CipSoft is an independent developer and operator of online games. The company is based in Regensburg. It was created following the success of Tibia, a game which has been online since 1997 and is one of the first MMORPGs ever created. With TibiaME, CipSoft also developed the first online role-playing game for mobile phones. Persist Online, an MMORPG featuring zombies, is currently in development.
CipSoft donates another 100.000 Euros for the fight against COVID-19
December 21, 2020 – Following the donation campaigns at the beginning of the pandemic, CipSoft once more supports international aid organisations fighting the coronavirus. 50.000 Euros will be donated to UNICEF who are helping children around the world that are affected by conflict, natural disasters and now, COVID-19. Another 50.000 Euros will be donated to Aktion Deutschland Hilft, an alliance of 23 German aid organisations. "That's our contribution to helping economically weaker countries overcome the impact of the pandemic," says managing director Benjamin Zuckerer.
